Light Switch: Breaking Free from Addiction and Walking into Freedom

Over the past couple of years, I have had conversations with friends, families of friends, acquaintances and total strangers about the nature of addiction and the journey to recovery.Having been vocal about my journey, I have been blessed to be introduced to numerous people who needed some clarity from someone who has been through a decade long multi substance addiction; from someone who has been through the darkness and through God’s grace found the light of recovery.All of these talks have been emotional. They usually involve a confused family member or friend desperate and afraid about the future of their addicted loved one. The talks usually involve someone trying to make sense of the sheer insanity, irrationality and terminal uniqueness exhibited by their loved one.
